Responsibilities:
- Answer phones.
- Greet customers and listen to their concerns. Gather information from customers regarding vehicle history, symptoms, repairs and any other pertinent information.
- Record and enter accurate vehicle information.
- Create inspection and repair orders.
- Fairly and accurately estimate vehicle repair and maintenance orders.
- Obtain authorization from customers for any recommended repairs and/or maintenance. Order/track parts and queue vehicle for repairs.
- Coordinate with technicians and requisition everything needed to complete a repair/maintenance order.
- Take payment from and provide invoices to customer upon completion of approved work order.
Qualifications:
- Previous auto repair, parts, or technician experience.
- Basic math skills and an appreciation for precision and a job well done.
- Basic understanding of cars, mechanics, and auto parts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills and knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Deadline, detail-oriented and multi-tasking.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, listen, and follow directions.
